Travel Website Design That Converts

A travel website that does not convert is a cost centre. We build differently. The starting point is always conversion, not aesthetics. From £4,800.

What's Included

Built for performance from day one

Marketing websites — from £4,800

Five to eight pages, mobile-responsive, contact and booking enquiry forms. Built using Astro, one of the fastest site frameworks available. Consistently scores in the 90s on Core Web Vitals. For nine to fifteen pages with a blog, multi-language support, and full SEO foundation: $12,000 to £14,500.

Travel portals — from $8,000

Directory or listing portal with operator profiles, search and filter, lead generation forms: from $8,000. Add booking via a channel manager integration: $15,000 to $25,000. Full multi-operator platforms with booking engines, payment processing, and operator dashboards: from $25,000.

Performance built in, not bolted on

Astro ships minimal JavaScript to the browser. On a travel site where page weight is typically high due to photography, that matters. Faster load times, better Core Web Vitals scores than comparable WordPress builds. The same stack we use for our own portfolio and every client site we build.

Handover with training included

Every project includes one 60-minute CMS training session and 30 days of post-launch support. We hand over a site you can actually manage. No proprietary lock-in. Every project milestone: one third at contract signing, one third at design approval, one third at live delivery.

Common Questions

Web Design FAQ

Why Astro and not WordPress?

Astro ships minimal JavaScript to the browser. We have consistently achieved faster load times and better Core Web Vitals scores with Astro than with comparable WordPress builds. The framework is also the right choice for multi-language sites and large content volumes. The best-performing AI portal we have built currently serves a hostel directory with 349 indexed pages, generating consistent organic traffic without ongoing paid acquisition.

What do you need from us to start?

Copy, photography, and brand assets. If your brand is not yet defined, we recommend completing a brand architecture project first. If you need content created as part of the project, we can provide it at $150 per hour or as a package from $1,500 depending on scope.

Do you include booking widget integration?

Booking widget integration (Beds24, Cloudbeds, and similar) is available as an add-on from $1,500. We do not build booking engines or configure payment gateways as part of a standard web project. Those are portal-scope projects with separate pricing.

What is the payment structure?

One third at contract signing, one third at design approval, one third at live delivery. This structure applies to all projects. Portal projects use the same structure. We do not accept full upfront payment or payment entirely on completion.

Can you handle multiple languages?

Yes. Multi-language support is included in the $12,000 to £14,500 tier and is available as an add-on on smaller sites. We build multilingual from the ground up using Astro's i18n routing, not page-by-page duplication.

What happens after the site launches?

Every project includes 30 days of post-launch support and one 60-minute CMS training session. After that, you can manage the site yourself. If you want ongoing content or SEO support, those are available as retainer services.
